Good morning, I am sorry to tell you I will not be in today. If you were to make up a test please wait for further instruction...you may be able to take it during class today and do not need to come before, between or after classes. Thank you.
Monday, Monday.....today we caught up students who were ill last week on CPR dates. We also had a HOSA meeting! Hope you went and signed up for this GREAT opportunity!
Do NOT forget ~ tomorrow September 24th is your first Med Term Quiz. STUDY Make sure you are present and punctual on Monday, Sept. 23!!!
Ms. Sonnenberg and Ms. McConnell will provide a catch-up session for those of you who missed school for testing or illness this week. All students who were present through out the week will move on in the AHA CPR class as planned. Have a great weekend, study med terms and stay SAFE! Great Job!!! CPR is underway!!!!!!
Watch the Macomb Daily, some students from our program will be highlighted. Today we discussed customer service in health care.....think about what it meant to you as a patient. I want everyone of my students to give top notch medical care and top notch customer service!
We should be getting faster at taking vital signs now. Try to complete a full set in three minutes. I know you can do it. Study your Med Terms. There will be a Med Term test on Tuesday 9/24. *Every time we have a Med Term test or quiz you will be required to turn in your list to Ms. McConnell. Here is a taste of "what not to do when performing CPR". :) We have gone over our medical terms and EVERY student should have turned in the "almost" final draft of their resume by now. I will help to spruce them up before you mail them out to apply for your externship.
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (AHA) is also underway! Come to class dressed for CPR class. Thursday A block wear your scrubs for our Macomb Daily interview!! MedTerm Test on Today we are reading thermometers and taking our patient's temperature.
Please look at the picture of the F and C glass thermometers so that you can read a temp. Temp reading, BP gauge, and 24 hour clock will be part of your first math quiz. |
